So, following on from the Instagram decision to ban the word “curvy”, a very lovely blogger, Kat Cupcake cleverly started promoting #curvee instead, with Instagram having no problem with its use!

Over 41,000 #curvee and #teamcurvee IG posts later, Kat, along with two other fabulous plus size bloggers, Kathryn and Georgina, are taking this one step further, by working together to host The Curvee Awards.

This is an online nominated award, that celebrates plus size bloggers, models and social media users.

There are seven categories that you can nominate people in, and its as simple as filling in a 60 second form.

Whilst I would love to get a nomination or two, in the Best New PS Blogger category, I feel it is even more important to show support to these fledgling awards and turn them into a great success.

That way, the whole PS community wins. And that really is what it is all about.

Celebrating being plus sized, in a growing community with opinions, ideas and great social media skills!

So come on guys and gals, go have a look and make your nominations. You don’t even need to vote in every category, but lets give it a go and give it the support it quite rightly deserves.
