So a couple of weeks ago a lovely lady called Holly got in touch to see if I was interested in working with the Charity, Age UK Mobility on a sponsored post. This is something I do agree to, if the post is of interest and in the ethos of my blog.
However I was travelling in Germany and missed the deadline to take up the opportunity. But once I was back, I had a look at what the campaign was all about and as it was quite quirky and I personally enjoyed it, I told Holly I would still like to do a post on it, especially as it was for a Charity.
So, the premise of the campaign? Working out what decade specific items cost the most (in the equivalent of today’s prices)
Well, I thought that as I am pretty good with the general costs of things, I would fly through the quiz.
How wrong could I be?
In a few words, I was rubbish!
Fancy a little go? You just need to visit here and see how you do.
Needless to say, even if I had managed to take part in time, I wouldn’t be in the running to win anything as I think I got nearly every question wrong!
I am now going to try it on the whole family, hubby, Mum and the Twins; I want to know if it was just me that didn’t have a clue……
Watch this space!
Till next time,
SPSG xx
