Well, at the end of May, Unique Vintage held a big sale and also offered a 20% discount off your basket. I could hardly refuse, could I?
I spent a good few hours looking at the site checking out my favourite items. Sadly I knew I could’t afford them all, so I had to cut my cloth and get the most for my money.
Well, my first choice had to be the Gingham Bumblebee Darcy swing dress. I had first seen this back in January at LondonEdge and knew it had to be mine.

I ordered a 5X/26 and moved onto the next offering that I had spotted.
The next item I chose was something I had been looking to get for a really long time; a pair of high waisted wide legged trousers. The Ginger trousers in Navy blue hit all the targets and at the amazing price of £53, I could hardly say no.

I again chose a 5X/26 and hoped for the best.
Now of course, what use are the trousers without a matching top? I chose the Bea Chiffon neck tie top to match.
Priced at just £50, it was a perfect choice. Again a 5X/26 went into the basket.

Next I went with the stunning Blue Glitter Mesh Garden State Cocktail Dress at just £65.00. I loved the way that the shoulder straps could be worn in a couple of ways.

This was a perfect choice for this years Twinwood and I plan on keeping it just for that event.
My final choice was one that I wasn’t too sure about. Now, I love red but am not a huge fan of polka dots. However there was just something about the Luna Polkadot dress that just called to me.

Maybe it was the little chiffon capelet, which really set it off.
As this was reduced to just £76.00 before the 20% off, it was too good a deal to refuse.
So, finally I added up my total. I had five pieces, including the bumblebee dress which I had been looking at for nearly six months.
Now, all I need to do is wait for them to arrive from the USA. Hopefully it won’t take too long and I can get the matching accessories for some of the outfits with next months pay packet.
