If you read me recently you will know all about my love for the wonderful ladies, Caroline and Lauretta over at Retropeepers.
Over the past 18 months I have tried a multitude of glasses and have loved every single one of them; Bettie, Zsa-Zsa, Frida Sunglasses and Marilyn.

Now I was feeling the need for another stylish pair. But there are so many to choose from that I was struggling to decide.
At Londonedge in January I had actually met the ladies and had a go at virtually every pair they sell.
I was particularly struck on the Peggy and even more so the fact that it comes in over 33 varieties if you take into account readers and sunglasses.

After much umming and ahhhing I had narrowed it down to four choices; emerald, red diamond, amethyst and bronze leopard.

In the end I couldn’t decide so contacted the ladies themselves to ask their opinion, especially as I had recently dyed my hair from Peach to Grey.
It was the overwhelming opinion that one specific colour really would be the ones to suit, so away I went.
Caroline and Lauretta already have my prescription so it was no problem at all to place the order. I told them the colour and less than five days later a box landed on my doorstep.

I was so excited to put them on that I took my contact lenses out straight away.
The stunning clear Emerald green was spot on.

Enticing Emerald
They really were such a lovely design and I simply can’t fault the colour at all. They really bring out the hazel/green colour of my eyes and looked great with the grey curly hair.
Again as with all the glasses I have had from Retropeepers, I haven’t taken them off since I put them on. The contacts have not gone back in and I am happily showing off the new specs.
Peggy Perfection
As always, the ladies have sent me a great product. Stylish, Fun, Colourful and also very Vintage. I absolutely adore them.
Oh and one of the best things about these glasses?

With a standard prescription lens with anti-scratch coating comes to the bargain price of £55. You can’t go wrong with prices like those.
My only dilemma now is I still fancy a pair of the Bronze Leopard. And the Red Diamond.

I think I will only be happy when I have a pair in every colour!
