Those who read me a lot know of my penchant for Bow and Crossbones products. Bangles, earrings, brooches, necklaces, you name it, I love it.
The owner/designer Cam is a lovely lady who puts so much love and attention into her designs, that I find myself falling in love with more products every time I go onto the site!
One of the most recent ones I really liked was the honeybee range which I thought would go great with my bee dress from Unique Vintage.
My Blogger wifey Boo gave me a voucher for my birthday back in July as she knew I was looking at making a purchase of it.
I only had one problem with it, and that was the red chain. Silly I know, but there is a part of me that has to have everything matching. I wish I could colour/pattern clash but it makes me a bit twitchy.
I asked Cam if she would be possibly bringing the design out with other coloured chains, but there was no plan to do so at that point.
Deciding to keep my voucher on hold just in case, I managed to make it to the middle of October before I succumbed.
And why was it?
Well, Cam held a Fall Flash Sale with some absolute bargains to be had and I was on the site in a shot. I knew I had a new dress that I needed to get some complimentary jewellery for, so it was perfect timing.
The dress was of course, the Vixen for Micheline Pitt Haunted Honey Sarong Dress. I absolutely love Little Shop of Horrors and this pattern was right up my street!
So, I popped along to the website to see what I could get to match and what other little gems were on offer.
I ended up putting eleven different things in my basket for the bargain price of £29. I had my voucher for £25 so it cost me the princely sum of just over £4.00.
Here is what I chose.
The Sarong Dress had strong pinks, greens, browns and mottled purples so I chose the two bangles to go with other colours I already own. I couldn’t decide on earrings so went with the hot pink hoops, chocolate and green button earrings so that I would have a selection to choose depending on the event.
The Purple, Green, and Gold Diamond shaped studs were to go with three other sarong dresses I own, which I had never had jewellery to go with, so they were perfect.
The red teardrops go with about 15 of my dresses so had to be put into the basket as they are totally versatile.
The last two pairs, the ivory hoops and little creamy yellow studs were a bargain price AND again very versatile with many of my outfits.
I felt I got a really good selection for an amazing price, as I previously mentioned £29.00 with post. They came within 5 days and I was so happy to wear some of them for the first outing of my Haunted Honey dress including the two bangles and the green button earrings.
I got so many compliments on my outfit, I obviously chose really well!
What do you think to my choices, would you wear any of them?
Till next time,
