Those of you that know me or follow me will be aware of my addiction to dresses. It is quite legendary, in fact.

My love of Pin Up Girl Clothing was so well known that I was nicknamed the PUG Queen. That title I have now handed over to the fabulous Boo as she has far more PUG now than I ever had. An inestimable collection, you might say.

Anyway, I do love a good frock and I am starting to get quite into vintage style wide leg trousers as seen here in Lithuania.

Now the problem is that I am skint. I have no surplus money so I try not to look at my favourite clothing websites as I can’t buy anything on there.

Then Boo comes along and goes ‘Oh my gosh, have you seen this???’ and I get sucked right into my favourite site. And oh boy, did I get sucked in.

There were so many amazing new items on Unique Vintage that I ended up spending hours surfing for different clothing that I can’t afford to buy!

Anyway, there was just too many good things on the site for me not to share them, so decided I would post them all on here as a Christmas wish list and hope that Santa thinks I have been a good girl this year!

A REALLY good girl…………

So, Santa here is what I really want in my sack this year!

This floor length dress caught my eye several months ago and I just can’t not drool over it. I want it so bad EVEN though I don’t know just exactly when I would wear it. Chartreuse is not a colour I have ever tried, but it is too epic not to wear it.

It is just divine and I want it to be mine!

My next option is a set of three;  a top, skirt and trousers. I do love a mix and match set and this one is a perfect set for the festive season (and after too)

I love the floaty full sleeves and I am a big fan of emerald green. I already own a pair of the trousers in Navy so I know just how good they are. I have a seamstress who I have to take them to though as at 5ft2 they are several inches too long.

The skirts are always a little long, which I personally like and this one just looks so Christmassy. I love plaid at the best of times and this one is very cool and very desirable.

1950’s Circle Skirt

For many years now I have wanted a vintage style suit, all to no avail. It is nigh on impossible to get vintage clothing in general and although the repro is fantastic, it doesn’t have all the staple pieces especially in the larger size range.

Now, I wasn’t looking for a flashy suit, just a standard suit that could be worn with a variety of coloured accessories; gloves, hats, shoes and bags etc. This suit comes in two colours, grey tweed and navy. I am torn between the two, if I am honest. Grey is more my thing, however navy would go with so many accessories I already have.

Maybe Santa will be super kind and get me both!

The next item is a big of a strange one; I love my wide leg trousers, but these are suspender trousers. Or for us Brits, Braces!

High waisted, pin striped and wide legged, I love the tighter waist, the braces are very 30s and I would style these with a crisp white mans shirt and a vintage tie. I would probably finish it off with a fedora or a bowler. I really love just how many ways these could be worn!

My final dress is really quite a different one as it is very embellished. A lovely spring green and white, it has lots of bows down the sleeves and a thin belt to accentuate the waist.

I currently do not own anything similar to this at all, so I am very keen to give it a go.

The last three of my choices, are currently in the sale.  The first is from the Alfred Shaheen Collection, a multicoloured sarong. You all know how much I love a sarong and the print on this is just gorgeous. And right up my street.

Lastly. Unique Vintage have done a recent collaboration with the Barbie brand and have designed outfits that are identical to specific Barbie Fashions throughout the years.

In this case there is a ball gown and a sheath dress. Both on Sale.

The Luncheon Sheath Dress

I think this is just so elegant and versatile. It is called the luncheon dress and I can imagine wearing this out with the ladies, maybe for a spot of lunch and bubbles!

My very last item is a stunner. It just calls to me and I want to dress up like Jessica Rabbit in it or even Madonna in the Material Girl video.  I have NOWHERE to wear it, but when have I ever let that stop me.

Now I totally understand how some of these just aren’t logical at all. Totally impractical in fact, however I can honestly say I am not that practical a person. I just love pretty things and these are stunning.

I just need the pennies, the occasions and the accessories to go with them all!
