A month or so I had a bit of a spree over at Lady V London who were having a massive sale with an added discount and I managed to get 5 stunning dresses!
The first one I tried out was the fabulous Cheryl Dress in ‘Funfair Print’. This was a style of dress that I had not tried before from Lady V, so I was unsure how the fit would be and if it would suit me.
I am happy to report that the dress is a little cracker!
It has a lovely ruched area over the bust, structured waist band and a decorative bow on the left hand side. The dress is quite a heavyweight 97% cotton material which is highly decorated with Carousel horses, popcorn, entry tickets, dodgems and more.
My favourite motif is possibly the bright red balloon dog, so cute and totally in keeping with the whole design.
The dress arrived really quickly and I was really keen to try it on. Given that the bustline was different to any of my other LVL dresses, I was unsure if the bust area would fit, even in a 26/28.
Putting it on I was absolutely thrilled with the results. The bust area fitted like it was made to measure and the waist was structured enough to give definition, yet still very comfortable.
Initially I just wanted to make sure the dress fitted with the intent on getting better pictures at a later date, however life has got in the way slightly and this has proved to be a bit tricky.
Add in Storm Ciara which ripped my gazebo to pieces and littered debris all over where I would normally stand and pose, it has been a bit of a problem.
Hopefully I will manage to get myself a couple of good shots to share with you all soon!
I think you will agree it is a bit of a stunner, and those graphics are excellent. I already have a silver pendant which is a moving ferris wheel so I started off with pairing it with that, however I may have come across some fairground themed perspex jewellery including balloon dogs so I may have to get some of those to make a real statement.
I just need to decide on the colours I choose now!
Till next time,
