As regular readers will know, I have a beautiful four legged boy who is the apple of my eye.
Theodore the Beautiful is my three year old Chow-Chow that lights up not only my World, but pretty much everyone he meets!
He is lazy, stubborn, awkward, funny, dopey, clumsy and absolutely adorable.
I have always referred to him as a bit of a Diva.
He plods along until he spots a person or another floof and then he perks right up and starts prancing, wiggling his bottom and waggling his tail.
As soon as they have gone past….. down he plods again!
Anyway, I had become aware of a photographer not too far away from my home who specialises in baby, portrait, wedding AND pet photography, Adrian Buller AMPA.
He even has a separate website for pets and boy, I had a look at his work and I have to say, I was pretty impressed! As an Associate Master Photographer, the quality of his skills shone through on his photographs.
This made me really keen to work with him to try and get a great shot of my boy.
Based in Bedford, we had agreed to meet in a Country Park not too far away from us both.
The only question now, would Baba actually ‘perform’ like he usually does when he hears the click of a camera? Most of you have seen the ‘photobombs’ he has done when I am trying to get fashion shots in the garden!
Well, I have to say probably 50/50. Adrian had some great tools and tricks to get Theodore to look at him AND like the diva he is, as soon as he saw another person/child/dog heading his way, he perked up and did his ‘thing’.
I have to say, Adrian was absolutely fantastic. He had Theodore in the bracken, amidst trees and foliage and with some amazing woodland backdrops.
There are probably hundreds of great shots of my Baba and I simply cannot wait to see what has been captured. Of course I will do another post all about my favourites!
Till then,
