Regular readers will know that last month I headed down to Leigh on Sea to visit the wonderful Anna at her Salon, Le Keux Essex.
As the ‘Face of Le Keux 2020’ it was the first chance I had to represent the brand, due to the COVID issues and it was an absolute blast. I got to meet some fantastic vintage ladies and we had such a giggle.
I had the bonus of staying overnight in Southend and making a proper jolly of it. Donuts, seafood and ice-creams on the front all went down a treat.
Anyway, if you would like to read more about it you can catch up here and here.
So, a couple of weeks have passed and I was thrilled to get an email from Anna saying that some of the photographic proofs had come back and we could share a sneaky few of them on our social media.
Well, consider it done!
On the day of the shoot there were several models; Carli Norris and her two daughters, Lola and Betsy, Kelli, Gemma and myself.
Clothing was provided by Chocodolly, Rockamilly and Vintage Mandy Lou for the models, however I was able to wear my own clothing. Hair and make up was done in the salon and the photography was taken by the fantastic Chloe Lee.
Chloe had started sorting and editing the images and had sent some that we could share and put out as sneaky tasters. I was super excited to see what she had taken and knew that they would be fabulous!
Anna had sent over 20+ photographs and I loved all of them. Carli’s two girls were so delightful but I have to admit I was pretty jealous of their milkshakes!
Or should I say, Freakshakes. Bright blue with lots of sweet treats, they really looked smashing.
We spent a few hours being primped and prettied; there were props to use and suggestions on poses including some dancing and jiving.
Whilst I was able to take part in a mini-stroll, I wasn’t able to do the jiving as my knee just literally wouldn’t play ball. It was fun watching the other three ladies though.
I think those photographs came out really well, don’t you?
Without sounding vain, I really loved the photo that Chloe took of me in the stylists chair. In fact, with both Chloe and Anna’s permission I want to use it as a profile photo on some of my social media.
So, if these are the sneaky peek ones I can’t wait to see the rest of them. I already know they will be fantastic and of course I will share them in a future blog.
Till next time,
