Regular readers will know of my love for vintage style jewellery, usually in the form of acrylic bangles, earrings and brooches.

I have some right corkers from the likes of Bow and Crossbones and Splendette and I wear bangles with most of my outfits.

One of my favourite sets recently was a double set from Luxulite which featured a yellow pineapple base and green leaf top.

I thought it was really ingenious and of course, I had to get the matching earrings.

I loved this set so much that it really got a lot of wear over the summer months.

Anyway, I digress.

Fast forward six months and Black Friday has just been and gone. In the run up to it I was having a bit of a perusal on Luxulite and came across a couple of things that had been added to the sale that just called out to me.

Given that Christmas is coming up, I wanted things that would go with some of my Festive outfits, specifically some earrings as I seemed to be very short of yuletide ear wear.

Goodies!

Heading to the earring section first I spotted these lovely bauble style dangly earrings which matched so many of my Christmas outfits. Green circular post earrings with large red baubles decorated with white snowflakes.

Priced at just under £7.00 these were a real bargain and will be an absolute delight to wear.

My second purchase was a pair of mini swirled donut hoop earring which was available in 3 shades; root beer brown, classic black and smokey red for the brilliant price of £6.20.

Root Beer Hoops

I went for the root beer brown as they reminded me of tortoiseshell and I have other accessories that these would compliment.

These are absolute little gems; thick chunky hoops which are a deep opaque brown and around the size of a 10p piece.

Vintage Vibes

They are lightweight and so very easy to wear, especially good for day to day wear as well as special events.

I completely adore these earrings. They are so practical yet so classy and I am very tempted to get the other colours as they will be really staples in anyone’s jewellery collection.

My final purchase and the real star of the show was the double bangle set that was made especially for the winter season.

Beautifully Wrapped

The snowman set consists of a black shaped bangle that sits atop a white chunky bangle decorated with little coal eyes and a sticky out carrot nose.

Mr Frosty

It is both decorative yet delightful. His little carrot nose is crooked and he has a really cute smile.

The black bangle is shaped like a top hat which is really ingenious as it is in a step like formation so you really get the feel of it being his hat.

I also had the idea that I can use a different colour bangle at the bottom to act as his scarf. That way I can match him up to whatever outfit colours I happen to be wearing.

Red Sparkles

Genius really.

The bangle set was at the fantastic half price of just £9.50 but sadly is now sold out. I don’t know whether there will be any more made before (or even after) Christmas.

Ice Blue

Given that this did sell out, I am hoping that there will be a whole line of Festive double bangles; maybe angels, reindeer, Santa, elves and more.

Maybe I will have to just suggest that idea….I know I would be in the queue to buy them!
