As mentioned in a post last week, I was very kindly offered four pieces from Shein to review and started off with a gorgeous wide legged jumpsuit that you can read here.
My second piece was something that was completely not my style and yet something that I thought I could style into a outfit that I would genuinely wear.
Therefore I was quite excited to get this next item out of the packaging and experiment with my look somewhat.
So what was it?
A long white shirt dress which came with a black, gold and white sash belt.
Now whilst I loved the sash belt and felt it gave a classy look, I didn’t have a great deal of accessories that would go with it.
I then decided to change it up somewhat and add a red leatherette belt, shoes and a long red wig. I loved the actual effect and could easily see me wearing this to the Supermarket or meeting friends for lunch.
For a more casual look I think a pair of skinny legged trousers, a camisole top and the shirt dress open as a ‘duster’ style jacket or a cover-up on a sunny day.
Another idea I quite fancy is my knee-high black boots, black t-shirt underneath and a couple of buttons open on the white shirt dress. I have a fabulous wide black belt which I think would look spot on with this too.
I genuinely think this could be one of the most versatile dresses that I own. Even as I am writing this, I am thinking up of several more styles that I want to try out, including with one of the swimsuits that I have on the way.
The only issue that I have is which to try out first!
Till next time
