Most of you know that I love a bit of glamour.

Adding a touch of class

Sparkles, evening gowns, jewelled collars, I adore a sprinkling of decorative bling.

So, it was with great delight that I came across this little bobby dazzler on the Shein Clothing site – The ruched belted glitter dress. 

A Perfect Colour

Available in one colour, a bright cyan blue, the whole dress is made of a lurex type of glitter material. The design is Maxi length, slightly A-line, with long straight sleeves, and an asymmetrical neckline, which drapes over one shoulder.

It comes with a matching belt which ties into a knot at the side.

Feeling like a Goddess

All in All, a very simple design and creation, however the colour and sparkle make it really stand out.

Striking the Pose

I happily went and placed my order, which priced at £21.49 was extremely good value. If you are a loyal customer of Shein, they are always offering various discount codes and as I got 20% off, it made it even better value.

Since purchasing the dress, it has now gone into the sale; available in sizes 20, 22 and 24 for just £14.99, which if you have a code could make it as low as £11.99.

Now, how did it feel?

As with most lurex material dresses, they do have a strange fuzzy feeling to them. However, the inside of the dress is soft and smooth and feels great to the skin.

He Strikes again

I ordered this in a size 24 as I didn’t want it to be baggy and give a more form-fitting look

Taking the photographs was good fun especially as the Cheeky Chow decided to help out with adding some glamour to the occasion. I swear as soon as he sees me in nice clothing heading out to the garden, he knows it is picture time!

Getting Set Up

I paired the dress up with a beautiful long straight auburn/brown wig from Shein and added a jewelled hairclip which I commissioned from Peacock Pretties a couple of years ago.

Adding a simple pair of black stilettos finished off the look although I will be looking for a sparkling pair of silver shoes to go with the dress for future wear.

Of course, whilst we are still in the middle of the pandemic, I don’t have anywhere specific to wear this to however for such quality at such a low price, it can languish on the clothes rail until an opportunity arises.

I absolutely loved the look of this dress and it felt so comfortable on. I thoroughly recommend it and truly believe that this will turn heads at any occasion.
