If you have been following my recent reviews of Christmas party dresses, you will already have been given the low-down on the gorgeous Chinese style velvet dress and the Bardot star dress.
Both of them were close fitting dresses made of velvet and really gave a stunning look, ideal for any festive event!
Now it was the turn of the third dress.
This next choice had really caught my attention as it reminded me of a vintage smoking jacket that you might find an educated gentleman wearing.
A lattice style pattern in blue and gold diamonds it was again made of velvet with a slight stretch and featured standard cuffed arms, a split at the front and a blue sash belt.
The dress had a V shaped neckline which showed off a little cleavage, but was very classy at the same time.
One of the things I loved the most about this dress was the wide blue border that went around each cuff and formed a central feature coming up both sides of the split, meeting at the middle and continuing all the way around.
It was quite unique in its look, and I thought it was exceedingly stylish without being overly ‘fussy’ in design.
The measurements for this dress are 50/43/50″ again with a slight stretch. On the model it reaches almost to her ankle (she is 5ft7) so for me it is pretty much full length, exactly how I like them.
Adding a pair of navy blue velvet heels, my small square gold clutch bag and a gold floral hair accessory, I was pretty much done.
This dress is even more reasonable at £29.99 yet I feel could be worn to the most elegant evening engagement or a simple meal out with colleagues and friends.
As for me, I wore it to celebrate the 25th birthday of my twin daughters. A family dinner was on the cards and this was both a gorgeous dress yet wasn’t tight or restrictive, which is a bonus when having a big meal.
I have to admit that this dress is a real winner, both in the style and comfort stakes. It certainly has the wow factor and really stood out due to its unusual design and the material used.
I absolutely love the blue and gold. But if that isn’t your cup of tea, they do offer it in green & gold or Red & gold.
Personally I would love to see it in other colour combinations; Black and Cream, Cream and Gold or even a Purple and Pink!
All of those would make for an amazing dress and I would probably be first in the queue to order them.
Until then, keep your eyes peeled for the last in my reviews; the Silver Keyhole Dress.

After all, every little helps as the huge Supermarket brand says. This dress will reduce in price to around £25.50 which I think you will agree is a fantastic price for such a great party dress.
Till next time,
