I recently wrote about falling in love with Miss Candyfloss via a French website, Boho Chic Clothing
Following on from that it was my birthday and I had a little money to spend and of course I immediately thought of Miss Candyfloss and the lovely ladies at Boho.
Chic Miss Candyfloss
I may have to admit to going a little overboard (no surprise there) and made a rather large order, well for me anyway.
Six items later and I paid for my things having blown all my birthday money!
Perfect FIt
I have to admit there were a couple of dresses I wasn’t sure would fit.
However I guessed that if they didn’t then I could always sell them on given that Plus Size Vintage styles are exceedingly popular and much rarer than standard sizes.
Rear View
Of course I was optimistic and couldn’t wait to give them a try.
Three days later the parcel arrived and I eagerly ripped it open to find all the beautiful dresses inside.
Look at that Zipper
The first one I am reviewing here is a stunning mustard dress with a large black and white flower pattern, the Aslani Sun dress
Made of a very stretchy material, this dress is probably the most comfortable dress I have ever owned without exception.
Full Skirted
The dress comes with a wide black cloth belt which is certainly big enough to fit my size 26 waist.
Deep pockets either side are always brilliant and these are also a lovely design with black trim and a matching floral button.
Perfect Pockets
One of the parts I like the best is the neckline which is a very simple.
It is almost in a Chinese dress style with a stand up collar but no ‘frog’ closure. This means it sits really nice up the neck and is so comfortable to wear.
Happy as a Lark
I paired this up with a pair of deep yellow Lulu Hun Shoes, an original Vintage bag with the most amazing Lucite zip pull and some mustard and black bangles.
My hair still had a bit of a vintage wave at the back after a 3 day wet set and so I threw a couple of Victory rolls into the front and off I went to lunch.
Needs a Re-set
All in all, this dress is absolutely brilliant. It fits like a dream, hangs beautifully, has lovely design features like the button on the corner of the pockets and was also in the sale!
This gorgeous dress was 30% off, down from £104.50 to £73.15 which is an absolute steal because the quality is exceptional!
The Finished Look!
To be honest, this dress is an absolute bargain and will be going to Chicago with me!
