This is going to be a pretty short blog to share a few photographs of a dress that I actually bought last year and never wore!
Summer Fun
I saw this pretty, summery, colourful dress and immediately knew it was something that I wanted to wear.
Bright and Breezy
Canary yellow, orange, green, pink and blue were the main colours of the dress. It had a distinct tropical pattern with a wrap style skirt and I cannot help but think of summer holidays on foreign shores.
Bed Hair, Don’t Care
In fact, it distinctly reminds me of something that might be worn in Encanto!
Hat-tastic
One of the things that I like most about this dress is the fact that it has all of the different colours so I can mix and match with it in a number of ways.
Strike a Pose
With a change of bangles, earrings and shoes I can go from the day time into the evening quite easily as the dress is very versatile.
A Slight Change
In this instance I wore the dress with a simple pair of Birkenstock style sandals, some coloured hoop earrings and a big sun-hat as the weather was especially nice.
Fiesta Fun
However with a pair of heels, some simple gold jewellery and a simple elegant hairstyle, it would be perfect for a night out at a classy restaurant or the theatre.
With My Green Goddess Stick
The best thing about this dress is that fact that it is exceedingly comfortable to wear. The fit is exceptional and it felt like it was made for me even though it is a standard 4XL dress.
Loving the Warm Weather
I am due an arrival of a vintage straw hat which has orange and yellow as the main decoration. I think that this will be an excellent partner for this dress as the combination will really compliment the colours in the dress.
Out and About
When the sun-hat arrives, I will try and do an additional post wearing the hat with the dress.
