A few months ago I was contacted by the lovely Safina from ‘Peachista’ asking if I would like to review some of their athletic wear leggings.
Now, whilst I am not the most able-bodied people, I like athletic wear for running errands, sitting writing blogs, housework and general chores.
Whilst I would have previously worn them to the gym, my current knee situation means that I can’t even use the cycle or have a brisk walk on the treadmill. I can, of course, go swimming however with my change in circumstances, I barely have enough time to eat, work, sleep and repeat.
However, as mentioned, when I am writing my blogs, I love to be comfortable yet still look like I have made some sort of effort.
Rather luckily I was going to meet up with the ‘Bali Babes’ at a private house for a weekend break and I knew that this would be a perfect time to wear the leggings as it was going to be a full-on chill out time.
Bali Babes
A couple of weeks before the break I received a lovely parcel in the post from Safina containing 4 different pairs of leggings to try on.
The first pair was a delightful navy blue pair with stripes down the outside of the leg before going across the derriere. I really liked the colour combo on the stripes; baby blue and ecru/grey.
Sporty Babe
Every pair of leggings has a high waist that sits upon your natural waistline, which reduces slippage and gives a better level of comfort.
In fact, the company has done excessive consultation (over 2000 consumers quizzed) and investigations, the idea initially was to provide curvy bodies with quality yoga wear that actually fitted and was up to the job.
Strike A Pose
Each design is tested by the in-house staff, and took over 10 months to produce.
Adding in quality materials, and features such as belly control, pressure belts, non-slip waistbands and moisture wicking adds to the level of excellence and performance.

Now, through this research and testing process, the range expanded in size and now encompasses sizes 10 (M) to size 30 (6XL)
Even better, there are 33 products in the range, including cycling shorts, leggings and vest tops.
Bend and Stretch
They have also created the leggings with lots of colour choices. Their flagship legging design “The Never Falling” come in a range of ELEVEN different colours; hot pink, yellow, royal blue, wine and sky blue to name a few.
The first pair I tried with the stripes comes in 4 design colourways; grey, dark blue, dark green or black which is not too shabby either.
Flexi-Babe
Moving on to my second pair of leggings, I was thrilled to open the package and find a hot pink pair.Â
Not only was it a hot pink pair, it had a ‘butterfly’ cut out design to show off a little skin at the back. Add in a double gusset seam that gives you a camel-toe free silhouette, with butter soft material and they really are a winner.
Yay… Hypermobility!
Available in 4 colours, hot pink, purple, black and dark blue, I have to admit to the pink being my absolute go-to colour choice.
Butterfly Back
The third pair I got to try was a plain black pair.
Well, when I say plain black, they seemed like a standard pair of black leggings to me.

Until you spotted the almost hidden side-stash pockets.
Now, it is very true that if you complement a woman on her dress, she will very enthusiastically tell you that “It has pockets too!”
No Slipping
And this is exactly what I said when showing off these leggings.
Pockets on either side of the upper thigh meant I could put my mobile in there when running errands, my glasses, or even a locker key at the gym.
Need A Better Sports Bra!
The fit on all of the leggings is exceptional; the clung in all the right places without rubbing or chafing, they didn’t ride up or slip down and they also have a butt-shaping design.
Well, that can’t be bad, can it?
Now, I was down to my last pair of leggings and boy, had I saved the best for last?
I had indeed!
A pale mint green pair, again with pockets!
A Gorgeous Colour
Their ‘Never Falling’ design features a compression waistband which ensures that no matter which way you bend or stretch, the leggings won’t start slipping or rolling down.
A thicker material is used to ensure that no matter what size you need, the material doesn’t become see thru like many cheaper varieties of leggings, and supports your body whilst performing the most energetic of tasks.
Swim Time
Now, as I have said, I can’t do high impact exercise at the moment, due to my knee problem. The irony though, is that part of my knee issue has been exacerbated due to having hypermobility.
This means I can barely walk down the street yet I have very good flexibility. I can reach down and touch my toes or get on the floor and reach forward and have my legs at quite extreme angles.
From The Rear
None of it hurts, and I can maintain the position for quite a long time.
Ask me to get up off the floor and walk ten paces and I am absolutely useless.
Never Falling Leggings
However, it was an ideal way to test the leggings, so I bent and stretched, rolled around on the grass and ultimately kicked the leggings off and went for a splash in the pool.
Needless to say, I wore the leggings a fair amount of the time away, as it literally was chilling, chatting and indulging in lots of good food whilst spending a weekend with the best of girls.
